Julia Kendrick has over 30 years’ experience as an engineer and technical leader at II-VI Marlow. II-VI Marlow develops and manufactures thermoelectric modules and value-added systems for the aerospace, defense, medical, industrial, automotive, power generation, and telecommunications markets.
During her tenure at II-VI Marlow, Ms. Kendrick has taken advantage of growth opportunities and her positions have included Project Engineer, Engineering Manager, Engineering Product and Program Manager, Systems Program Manager, Director of Program Management, and most recently, Director of New Product Introduction. In her current role, she leads a global engineering team which provides innovative product solutions for seven different markets, with customers across the globe. Ms. Kendrick possesses a unique combination of highly developed engineering skills, business acumen, and project management experience. Ms. Kendrick is passionate about building and leading teams to develop and deploy highly effective products and processes. Her other passions include the development, optimization, and deployment of New Product Introduction (NPI) processes as well as problem solving processes, with a focus on defining and deploying systemic, preventative solutions. Ms. Kendrick graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. She later earned an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). Ms. Kendrick resides in Dallas, Texas and has two grown children, both Mechanical Engineers, following in their mother’s footsteps. In her spare time, Ms. Kendrick enjoys travel, reading, and running. |
